Dona is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with six years of experience working with families, including working with children, teens, and adults. She provides a collaborative therapeutic approach integrating human-centered, solution-focused, and cognitive behavioral therapy to support clients as they face, explore, and cope with painful emotions, behavioral challenges, and stressors. She recognizes the need for help navigating life and emotional challenges. Knowing that it takes courage for people to seek therapy, Dona works with compassion to create a therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe, understood, and empowered. She will listen carefully to your concerns and will work with you to develop treatment goals tailored to your individual needs. Dona has experience working in school-based programs providing counseling and mental health services to students and families grades K-12. She has experience working with students in special education, general education, and foster youth populations. Previously, Dona worked with County Child Protective Services. Her work experience has given a unique insight to the problems that children and families face today. Her goal is to help everyday people, facing everyday problems to overcome challenges and live their best life.
